This sterling silver jewelry box was crafted by Synyer & Beddoes in Birmingham, England in 1870. The top of this box is adorned with an enameled coat of arms for the City of Belfast. It sits on 4 feet. The frame for box is made of Sterling, the insert for the jewelry box is purple velvet lined wood.
Hallmark on the edge of bottom is for Synyer & Beddoes, the Sterling mark indicates Birmingham, and the Date mark is for 1870.
